Le bonsaï au Japon

Web bonsai review #8 – october 2012

Last review of bonsai website for the month of September and October opening. I try to keep a publication rate of once every ten days, I hope it suits you. In late September is intense activity on the net. September is well underway and exhibitions will succeed quickly now.

As you may have noticed the site had a beautiful facelift. This skin change was necessary in order to improve your navigation. I still have many things to do but the site did not suffer any downtime. You will soon find in footers a photo gallery flickr widget and many other supposed to give you a little more. The last three reviews of the bonsaï will still be visible in web footers. The exhibition schedule is no longer available in the sidebar because it will include a full page.

Make yourself comfortable, I did visit the bonsai world.

A word about taisho-en, it is the nursery of Urushibata family. Currently the garden belongs to Nobuichi Urushibata. Her son, Taiga, begins to take slowly nursery. After studying abroad  he was formed by KIMURA masahiko for six years. In addition to working in the family nursery Taiga sells its services to other Japanese professionals. It also came in France during the second exhibition of association bonsai kyookaï 2012 (Laurent BREYSSE  – l’arbre aux papillons). This is a great chance to have a young master, dynamic and which moreover speaks English very well.

Despite his young age (he thirties) Taiga is recognized as a master. His talent is undeniable and I think it will be part of this new generation of teachers coming to teach regularly in Europe and we move forward.

Kawanami sensei :

I deliver to you just a few words here on this great man of bonsai offered us two wonderful articles in France Bonsai. He explained how to create mame Shimpaku with character from cuttings. A very good technique of shari creation is explained.

Kawanami-san

Original text of Ideal Bonsaï on facebook :

« It’s Kawanami-san. A master of bonsai in Japan, with 37 years of bonsai culture. He had a collection of 3,000 exemplary all of which were lost in the tsunami, leaving only a few pots.
He began to rebuild his house, helped by a group of volunteers, who gave him three bonsai.
There were times when Kawanami-san thought to stop smoking, but such events make us look at life differently and give us a different perspective and strength to move forward.

Plant the seed of generosity.

Be happy! This is a great day! «

What the fuck :

We are often told to practice bonsai adding a bit of our culture. Here is the perfect example given by a mexican bonsaïka. Congratulations to him.
