Activity intensified in the beginning of this year and the world of bonsai slowly evolves towards a more open world through better communication. It is now easier to find photos and information on major exhibitions in the world, and this is the recently kokufu-ten who showed us. Never before have we been able to find as easily behind the scenes of this legendary show.
European professionals are also beginning to invest the web and use digital media to show us their work. In this issue I will present three professionals who have recently chosen to move their site to create or suggest new content.
Bonsaï masterpiece :

Pour cette revue du bonsai web, les masterpiece que je vous offre à regarder ne sont que des genévriers, des « shimpaku » comme disent les japonais.
For this review of bonsai web, this is juniperus masterpiece, « Shimpaku » as they say in Japanese.
After three publications on kokufu 2103: The selection of trees, setting up the day before the opening, and professional stands in Ueno green club, I suggest you make a final pass through the aisles of the exhibition:

Learn bonsai in Japan :
More and more nurseries in Japan now offer foreign bonsaïka to learn bonsai with them directly. The duration of training is variable and can range from one week to the shorter at 6 years, which is the normal learning for Japanese bonsai.
Of course like many bonsaïka you don’t speak Japanese… but do not worry because in most nurseries, coaching in English is possible. In the last issue of « esprit bonsai » you can find for example the Taisho-en Nursery, near Mount Fuji, where it is possbile to come learn bonsai with a young master Urushibata Taiga and her father Nobuichi Uruchibata.

New media and websites to discover :
Thierry FONT’s blog :
Thierry FONT makes us the pleasure of opening a blog, sakurama bonsai, and shares with us his experiences of bonsai at home and in Japan with master Kawabe. The arrival of this blog is for me a very good news because I think Thierry is one of the most influential bonsaïka Europe. He contributes for several years now to raise the level of bonsai in France, thanks in part to the many workshops he leads.
Wish him a long experience of blogging.
Patrice BONGRAND’s Youtube channel :
Patrice BONGRAND contacted me a few months ago to help create videos to discover the natural way in bonsai. It ensures the shooting itself and gives me directions to the achieving. I finally ensures that it could not do itself, the editing. You can find all the videos on his YouTube channel.
If you follow the blog you must have already seen the first two movies on the natural way in bonsai:

Sonia STELLA’s new website :
You certainly know Sonia STELLA as the author of articles on sumi-e posted on the blog. His website on google sites, started gathering dust and was a little outdated. So I accepted his request to create a much more 2.0 website on WordPress. After a few days of work I was able to deliver a brand new website, with a suitable domain name: sumi-e.fr
Take the time to discover this site because it will grow little by little new work of this artist. You can also see the painting because she recently also put online videos of her work.
